OUR APPROACH
This is My Life is built to be private by design. Your life story — your
profile, moments, photos, videos, locations, categories, and family members —
is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced to your own private
iCloud account. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal
content, and we cannot read it.

HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED
Your story is held in local app storage on your device. If iCloud is turned on,
it also syncs through Apple's iCloud using your Apple ID, governed by Apple's
privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud data.

PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
We ask for the following only when needed, and only to provide a feature:
• Photos: to add photos and videos to your moments.
• Camera: to capture new photos for your moments.
• Contacts: to let you import a family member's details. We copy only the
details you select into the app; we do not upload or store your address book.
• Location: to tag where a moment happened, when you choose to add a location.
• Face ID / Touch ID: to optionally lock the app. This is handled by your
device; we never receive your biometric data.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

control of it:
• Edit or delete any moment, photo, profile, or family member at any time
inside the app.
• Export a full copy of your story from Settings.
• Delete your entire story and profile from within the app (Settings), and
sign out to disconnect Sign in with Apple.
• Deleting the app removes the local copy from your device. Data already in
your iCloud is managed by you through your Apple ID.

This is My Life is intended for general audiences and is not directed at
children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. Because content stays on the user's own device and iCloud, the app
does not transmit any user content to us.
